The Jacksonville Port Authority awarded a PACS Upgrade contract to Baywood Technologies on December 9th, 2008. When completed, the upgrade will govern the assignment and maintenance of multiple credentials to JPA-registered personnel accessing the port’s terminal areas. Using the latest technology available, the upgrade will allow the port to meet DHS TWIC compliancy requirements while still using JPA’s local credential for daily access to all terminal areas.
